Yes, I know about those coupons, they are not gift cards, nor can they be bought or sold (except occasionally on e-bay you see them), but given away as promotional items, or they are given as customer satisfaction if you have a problem at one of the restaurants.

I have photos of these "burrito buck" coupons at the link below, different colors for each year, and also some coins, which serve the same purpose as the paper funny money.
